Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a date/time for the first session for nutrition and/or fitness?

When booking - choose any available date/time that is listed (dates/times are added for the upcoming month). Once that session is confirmed, you will get a confirmation email with instructions on the first session. Your next sessions will be booked at the end of the first session.

How do I sign up for the events and are they free?

Most events are free! There are some events at local races, which do have a cost.

For the free events, let me know you'd like to come so I can give you all of the details! You can pre-order fresh juices for all of the events - Email and/or DM on facebook or instagram for orders. In partnership with @bubblesandgoldburg, you can also pre-order sweet treats/bread for the events!

For race charity events - please donate and contact for 5k information after donation! Donations are *not required* to join in on the fun walk/runs!

Why should I do this opposed to doing it on my own or with a personal trainer at the gym?

With my plans, you will receive a complete fitness plan and nutrition guidance that is completely individualized to you. Not only will we meet multiple times virtually, I will also be checking in with you throughout the entirety of the plan to keep you accountable! You also have full access to ask me questions about anything at all and I can adjust your plan accordingly to your schedule. As a nurse practitioner, I help you get to your goals in a healthy, sustainable way using all evidence-based guidelines to help change your entire lifestyle beyond the plans.

 

There’s so many options to choose from, how do I know what’s right for me?

Typically, nutrition & fitness go hand-in-hand. It is highly recommended to do a bundle package to get the full benefits. If you have any questions, schedule a free consultation and I can help you choose what’s best for you

How do I know if I need 1 month plan versus more?

If you aren’t sure, 1 month is a good place to start and you can always add on more! The more months you book together, the bigger discount you get. I highly recommend that if you are just starting out, you should sign up for more than 1 month. Discounts offered for booking more than 1 month - please send in a contact form or email abetteryou.ccc@gmail.com if interested!

 

Is it worth the money?

These plans are geared to help you change your lifestyle and keep you healthy beyond these plans. I am not selling you month-based plans, I am helping you change your lifestyle to keep you healthy for you and your family! When you think about the healthcare costs that go into having just 1 chronic disease, for example - an average of $17,000 is spent YEARLY to control and manage diabetes - I am saving you time and money for a healthier future. If the initial costs are too much, send in a contact form to inquire about payment plans!

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit/Debit cards through the website. May also reach out directly to pay through venmo/zelle or cash.

HSA/FSA accepted! - Please let me know if using HSA/FSA at our first session so I can send you an itemized receipt.

I don’t have any workout equipment or a gym membership, how will I workout?

Every plan is individualized to each person. No equipment necessary. Bodyweight exercises are a great way to get started. Virtual 1:1 sessions coming soon or available upon request to help with form and accountability!

I already use peloton, tonal, etc. What else can you do for me?

Every plan is individualized to each person. I love seeing patients use these apps!! I will customize your workouts using your apps, telling you exactly which workouts to incorporate every day. I will check in to make sure you are completing your scheduled workouts throughout your entire plan.

 

I don’t like to cook, what options do I have?

I will give you easy, healthy options that incorporate very little time in the kitchen if need be! The goal is that you stay away from highly processed foods and make healthier choices. I will also give you options to get at your grocery store for quick, easy meals and you can always reach out to see if a certain brand/product would be okay for you. If you go out to eat frequently, I will help you decide what is best to order at the restaurants you go to/order from!
